Your coffee is yours.
Last updated: 2 October 2026.
Reveries is a coffee journal for iPhone and the web. This page explains what we do and do not collect. It is written plainly on purpose.
Your account and journal
You sign in with Apple or Google. To keep your journal in sync between your iPhone and the web, we store it in your Reveries account: your sign-in identifier, your username and profile, your bags, brews, recipes, café coffees, brewers, and the photos you attach. Private entries are visible only to you. We do not sell your data and there are no ads.
What is public
Only what you make public: entries you set to Public (by default for a kind of entry, or one at a time), and your profile. Public entries appear on your page at reveries.coffee and in the Circle feed of people who follow you. Follows and likes are visible to the people involved. Brewer nicknames are never shown publicly.
Crease, the AI companion
If you use Crease, the brew data it needs and your conversation are sent to our AI model provider to generate a response. Nothing is shared with other Reveries users. Your conversations are kept in your account and included in your export.
If you subscribe to Crease Plus, Apple handles the payment and we never see your card details. We store the App Store transaction identifiers and subscription status needed to confirm your subscription, and a count of your Crease messages and what they cost us to run, so we can apply your usage allowance.
If you request a refund from Apple, we may share how much you used Crease in that period with Apple to help it review the request. You can turn this off in Settings → Permissions.
Beta signup
If you join the beta on our website, we store your email address and send you the TestFlight link. We may occasionally write about the beta, never spam. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out bots, and Cloudflare to send email. We do not sell or share your email. Reply "unsubscribe" to any email from us, or write to us, and we remove you.
Moderation
Published content may be checked against automated moderation so the public service stays safe. We keep limited records needed to enforce our terms.
Export your data
From Settings, in the app (iOS) or on the web, you can download a copy of everything Reveries stores for you: your profile, every bag, brew, recipe, café coffee, and brewer, posts, follows, likes, blocks, AI companion conversations, and your photos, as a single file, generated on the spot. We don't keep a copy of the export itself. It exists only for the moment you download it.
Delete your account
From Settings, in the app (iOS) or on the web, you can delete your account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, so we offer the export above first. When you delete:
- Your profile, published items, photos, posts, follows, likes, and blocks are removed straight away.
- Your Sign in with Apple / Google sign-in is revoked with the provider where possible, so signing in again starts a brand-new account with nothing carried over.
- Your username is held for 30 days before anyone else can take it. But you (the same sign-in you deleted with) can reclaim it if you come back within that window.
- Database backups are retained for point-in-time recovery and roll off within 30 days.
- Reports you filed about other people are kept for moderation history, but no longer linked to you. A separate, small set of moderation and child-safety records may be retained and linked to your account where the law or safety requires it.
To remove only your beta signup email, reply "unsubscribe" to our email or write to us.
